Education is really important.  It goes hand in hand with safety and with progression of the hobby.  With this new section, I am going to try to post information that I had no idea about when I first started.  

To start with, my engines are larger (3 hp and greater) which means that if they grab you there will be problems.

Here is a YouTube video of Bill Geyer starting up his Ajax engine.  Note the calm and systematic method he uses to start it.   No jumping in the flywheels nor misplaced fingers.
