Have you ever wondered what these old bits of iron were for?  They were the industrial predesessors which allowed us to progress to the information age.  These were chop, bone, and feed grinders... they were drill presses, mills, lathes, saws, and trip hammers.  They are mostly gone but some survive.  We must not forget as it may come to pass that we will need them again.
